Magpie Therapy is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance.

Many insurance plans include out-of-network mental health coverage where you can be reimbursed a portion of the therapy fee.

You are responsible for determining your benefits and if your insurance accepts “superbills” which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Steps for reimbursement through your insurance:

To determine your out-of-network mental health coverage, you can call your insurance provider and ask the following questions:

“what are my out-of-network-mental health benefits?”
“what is the coverage amount per therapy session?”  
“what is my deductible for out-of-network mental health services?”

Benefits of an Out-of-Network Provider

• No requirement to have a diagnosis, and if there’s a diagnosis, it can remain confidential.
• No need to share your mental health information with insurance companies.
• Freedom to choose a therapist who can be the best fit for you instead of being limited to therapists who are within network of insurance companies.
• No restrictions on how many sessions per year or how often you get to see your therapist.
• No restrictions on the length of sessions and the type of service needed.
