Group Therapy

Facilitated therapy groups run for 6 weeks with 3-6 participants. Our time together will involve group discussion, therapeutic activities, and personal reflection. Group sessions are 50 minutes long and require a commitment for the duration of the 6 weeks. All participants are expected to maintain confidentiality to foster trust and open sharing.

Early motherhood: exploring the growth and challenges in your new identity as a mother and daily life while building community.

Teen group: process daily issues, stresses and successes, practice the brave and rewarding act of vulnerability, and explore connection to your self and others. Sharing of memes encouraged.

Parents of teens: connecting with others managing this complex time in family life can offer normalization, self-compassion, strategies, and strength.

Lantern Collective: a supportive group for women 16+ who have experienced intimate partner violence or sexual assault. This group offers a safe and confidential space to connect with others who understand the impact of trauma, while working toward healing, empowerment, and reclaiming one’s voice.

Contact Magpie Therapy to discuss group schedules. Cost is $300 per 6 week session ($50 per meetup). Lower cost available through OpenPath.com.

“People need people – for initial and continued survival,
for socialization, for the pursuit of satisfaction. No one
– not the dying, not the outcast, not the mighty –
transcends the need for human contact.”
